In order to facilitate the effective implementation of budgetary authority by the Parliament, and to strengthen the capacity of the Fiscal Environment Assessment and Monitoring by the staff of parliamentary sectoral committees, on September 24-25, the Training Center of the Parliament of Georgia organized a distance training on the topic "Fiscal Environment Assessment and Monitoring".
The training was led by Giorgi Meskhoradze, Head of the Budget Analysis unit of the Parliamentary Budget Office of Georgia.
The training discussed the country's fiscal framework and the role of the Parliamentary Budget Office, reporting Policy of the Parliamentary Budget Office and the review of the State budget draft law prepared within the framework of the policy, documents reviewing the monthly, quarterly and annual execution of the state budget, as well as the finances of the Autonomous Republics and local self-government units.
